Joshua Plummer – Co-Owner, NKY Motorsports & Backroads Motorsports

Joshua Plummer began his career in retail in 2000 with H.H. Gregg, where he developed his foundation in customer service and sales. During his early years, he specialized in electronics, appliances, and car audio — building a passion for understanding products and connecting customers with what best fit their needs.

After several successful years in retail, Joshua transitioned into the automotive industry, where he spent more than two decades working with General Motors and Hyundai under one roof. Over 21 years, he gained extensive experience in dealership operations — from front-end sales and customer interaction to the financial and administrative management that drives long-term business success. His time in the automotive industry provided him with deep knowledge of dealership operations, financial statements, floor plan management, and customer experience strategies that continue to shape his approach today.

Currently, Joshua serves as Co-Owner and General Manager of NKY Motorsports and Backroads Motorsports, two independently owned dealerships specializing in high-quality used cars, trucks, SUVs, and powersports equipment. He oversees all areas of operations — including sales, service, parts, and finance — ensuring each customer receives a professional and transparent experience.

In addition to his business leadership, Joshua is a dedicated public servant. He has proudly served as an elected Magistrate for Pendleton County for the past eight years, where he plays an active role in fiscal oversight, community development, and local government decision-making.

Combining his business expertise and community involvement, Joshua continues to focus on growth, integrity, and service — both in the showroom and across Northern Kentucky.

Abby keeps the heart of our operations running smoothly every single day. With over a year of hands-on experience in powersports and tractor sales, she handles everything from parts ordering and technical support to service advising, scheduling and sales coordination. Whether you’re ordering components for your Big Horn side-by-side, setting up a TYM tractor service, or looking for your next ATV,  Abby is the friendly face and sharp mind ready to help.

She’s known around here as our in-house TYM Oracle — her product knowledge and expertise in tractor systems, parts sourcing, and order processing are unmatched. Abby also manages daily communications, answers customer calls, coordinates service appointments, and helps ensure every sale or repair runs efficiently from start to finish.

Assistant General Manager / Master Powersports & Tractor Technician – Joshua Dietz

Since the day NKY Motorsports first opened its doors back in 2000, Joshua Dietz has been the driving force behind our operations, service excellence, and technical expertise. As our Assistant General Manager and Master Powersports & Tractor Technician, Joshua oversees every aspect of daily operations — from the service bays and parts department to sales support and customer satisfaction.

With decades of hands-on experience and a reputation for unmatched technical skill, Joshua leads our team with precision and professionalism. He is a certified ASE automotive technician, certified welder, and a former construction engineer in the Army National Guard, bringing a rare combination of mechanical expertise, discipline, and leadership to every task.

Joshua’s deep knowledge of ATVs, side-by-sides, motorcycles, and TYM tractors makes him the go-to expert for complex diagnostics, repairs, and performance upgrades. He ensures every machine that leaves our shop meets the highest standards of safety and reliability.

Beyond the tools and torque, Joshua also plays a key leadership role — training staff, coordinating workflow, managing inventory, and maintaining the efficiency that keeps NKY Motorsports recognized as one of the most trusted independent dealerships in the tri-state area.
